LONG BIAS

1. Squeeze Detection

Bollinger Bands remain inside Keltner Channels for a minimum of 5 consecutive closed bars. This indicates compressed volatility ready for expansion.

2. Breakout Confirmation

Price closes decisively above the Upper Bollinger Band on the release bar, confirming the direction of the expansion.

3. Momentum Alignment

MACD histogram turns positive, providing conviction that buying pressure is supporting the move.

DOWNSIDE PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITY

SHORT BIAS

1. Squeeze Detection

Same squeeze condition: Bollinger Bands inside Keltner Channels for 5+ bars.

2. Breakout Confirmation

Price closes below the Lower Bollinger Band on the release bar.

3. Momentum Alignment

MACD histogram turns negative, confirming selling pressure.

Protection Level (Stop Loss)

Placed at 1.5 × ATR(14) from entry price in the adverse direction. Provides breathing room while protecting capital.

Harvest Target (Take Profit)

Primary target at 2.5 × ATR(14). Alternative exit when price reaches the opposite Bollinger Band. Optional intelligent trailing available.
