Markets spend most of their time negotiating around high-volume price levels. VolumeTide builds a rolling Volume Profile over the last 48 bars, locates the Point of Control (POC) — the heaviest-traded price — and the 70% Value Area around it. When price gets stretched outside the Value Area and the per-bar Delta (buy/sell pressure approximation) flips against the stretch, VolumeTide trades the rotation back to the POC, using it as a price magnet.
No Bollinger Bands, no RSI, no MACD — the edge comes purely from where volume actually traded and who is in control right now.
