Let the tide steer the direction, and let volume-force nod in agreement — a momentum-continuation plan built on the WaveTrend Oscillator and Elder's Force Index.
WaveHelm reads a market with two very different lenses at once. The Tide Momentum Line (WaveTrend Oscillator) marks the exact bar the current turns; the Money-Force Line (Elder's Force Index) confirms whether the crowd's strength truly leans the same way. A Market-Motion (ATR) gate keeps it out of dead-flat water. It only acts when momentum, force and volatility all agree.
A smooth momentum wave with a fast line and a slow signal line. When the fast line crosses the slow line, the current is turning. Built on the average price channel, it flags turning points early while filtering choppy noise.
Combines price change and volume into one reading, then smooths it with a 13-period EMA. Above zero means buying pressure leads; below zero means selling pressure leads.
Only participate when ATR is at or above 0.8× its own 50-bar average — skipping the flat, lifeless stretches where crosses tend to be noise.
JOIN-UP WaveTrend fast crosses above slow, Force Index EMA13 above zero, ATR active.
JOIN-DOWN WaveTrend fast crosses below slow, Force Index EMA13 below zero, ATR active.
