A trend-vane flip confirmed by a volume gust — one clean, disciplined way to join a move.
GustVane keeps the chart quiet. A single adaptive trend line (HalfTrend) holds its heading through chop and only flips when price truly breaks to the other side of its channel. We act on a flip only when the Volume Zone Oscillator — the “gust gauge” — leans the same way, so we skip hollow moves with no crowd behind them.
An adaptive baseline that ignores minor noise and flips only on a genuine structural break. A flip = a real change of heading.
The Volume Zone Oscillator splits volume into buying vs selling pressure. Above +4 backs an up-flip; below −4 backs a down-flip.

Vane flips UP (down→up) AND VZO > +4 AND ATR ≥ floor.
Vane flips DOWN (up→down) AND VZO < −4 AND ATR ≥ floor.
Protective exit at 1.5×ATR; harvest target at 1.8× the protective distance. Fixed 1% account exposure per window, one position at a time, up to 10 windows a day with a next-day reset. A built-in watchdog alerts if no window opens for 3 days.
